After B-Rad's post about Shea Stadium, I wanted to share a few photo's from the last pieces of Shea going down that were sent to me by a good friend...
It's finally down!!! I wonder how much the Mets will actually sell their remaining seats for now. Every Mets fan had some good and bad memories of Shea, but i'll never forget Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS when Endy Chavez made that amazing catch. The Upper Deck was bouncing up and down over the Mezz Reserved where I was sitting. I honestly thought the stadium was going to come down then... BYE SHEA, HELLO CITIFIELD!
